Other Attraction Nearby Tasik Puteri; Bukit Besi Mini Zoo

Along our trip to Tasik Puteri, we also managed to go to the Mini Zoo which is located just 10minutes from the lake. This Mini Zoo is one of attraction that visitors can go when they arrived at the Bukit Besi. In the mini zoo there were more than one animals that we could see such as rabbit, deer, porcupine, ostrich and mousedeer.

Other Attraction Nearby; ATV and Waterfall

    Other than enjoying the beautiful scenery of Tasik Puteri, there is one place that we can go which is waterfall. The location of waterfall is just a stones throw away from  the Tasik Puteri. The fact is the waterfall comes from the lake and go through the waterfall. This waterfall has a shallow and deep area. So, for the first phase is the most deepest part in that waterfalls. People like the kids and who cannot swim or maybe just wanted to play with the water just can go to shallow area. The visitors are warned to take a precaution step while they were at the waterfall. This is because during the rainy season they water level will increasing and it will cause a dangerous to the visitors. The interesting part is the entrance is free. This place famous during weekend and school holiday among the students and local people. Some of the area at waterfall also can be used as place to picnic. This place is suitable for people who is seeking for relaxing and run from their hectic life. 


 Not only that, around Tasik Puteri, there is activity that can be done which is riding an ATV. There are several routes available when riding an ATV which is at different prices. Among them, Track D1 (Muddy Fun Ride) and Track D2 (Muddy Challenge). This is an easy route and a less extreme route that you can try. There is a very challenging route which is Track F (ExtraOrdinary Challenge). In track F, it combines all the tracks that provide in one package. The route starts from a leisurely trail, down a steep hill, across a bridges, climbs up and down a high hill and runs through the wet and muddy passages. For those who want to try challenging activities, you can come to Tasik Puteri and ride an ATV and take Track F where it takes a lot of energy.

Tasik Puteri also once upon time is a village that stayed by the local people a few decades. If we go to this lake, we could see that there were so many leftover buildings at the bottom of the lake such as a house.

Introduction About Tasik Puteri, Bukit Besi

Tasik Puteri is a place which located 39kilometres from Kuala Dungun which take about 45minutes by a car and 97kilometres, which is 1hour and 15minutes from Kuala Terengganu. This lake is man-made lake which for a long time ago there is a iron ore mining around 3decades ago.

Tasik Puteri contains a very beautiful and amazing clear water that allows us to look at the base. But it is a dangerous act to shower there without the protection of skilled parties because of a few safety reasons. One of the reasons is the water level of the lake is 9 meter and above. Other than that, Tasik Puteri is the best place to take photos because of its wonderful scenery especially when you can find the best angles. In the middle of the lake there is an unique bridge that people thought as symbolic of Tasik Puteri. It also one of the best backgrounds to shoot your wedding or graduation photos.
